| A 123-acre park, Twin Lakes Park serves as a training base for minor and major league baseball. Professional baseball games are open to the public at no charge from February to October. A large picnic pavilion and open space are available for rentals. Many special events are held on the grounds including: family reunions, weddings, corporate picnics, dog shows and musical events. Many amenities shaded playground, walking trails, ponds.

| The park offers playgrounds for toddlers through teens; a fitness trail; and a 1-mile nature trail, winding through pine flatwoods, and adjacent to herbacious and forested wetlands. Select areas of Urfer Family Park are dog friendly. Dogs are not allowed in or near restrooms, playgrounds, or pavilion. The following map illustrates these areas. A boardwalk also overlooks wetland areas. Signs throughout the park provide descriptions of natural and sustainable features.
