An Evening at McCurdy's Comedy Theatre

When you think of Siesta Key and Sarasota, many people often think of our famous beaches.  But maybe you might want to do something that’s a little different?  We have just the place you should try, McCurdy’s Comedy Theater!  It’s been a Sarasota mainstay for 22 years and hosts everything from famous comedians to burlesque shows.  This past Thursday we had the pleasure of checking out “Hippieman”.  He was so funny at times that I had tears in my eyes…can’t remember the last time I laughed so hard!  Who couldn't use a good laugh?  It was such a nice change of pace for a night on the town.
 
The Theater itself was great and the perfect size, every seat in the house was good!  The wait staff was attentive and the drinks were good.  The owner, Les McCurdy gave a great pre-show that was not to be missed!  I noticed that they have some well known comedians coming up on the schedule, in June they will have Louie Anderson from the ABC hit show “Splash”.  If you are looking for some good laughs and something different to do, I highly recommend McCurdy’s Comedy Theater.  Check it out and let me know what you think!
